The focus of Dr. Fyre&#8217;s research is the study of the biomechanics of flight of the fruit fly.  Dr. Frye has received numerous awards and honors from such prestigious organizations as the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the W.M Keck Foundation, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
